What time should I arrive?
Plan to be seated by 3:45 PM. The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00.
Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors on the grounds at Briarhurst Manor. Cocktail hour will flow between the patio and indoors so guests can warm up if the evening turns cool.
What's the weather like in April?
Average highs in the mid-50s°F, lows near freezing, and the sun is intense at altitude. Layers and sunscreen.
Do I need a rental car?
We recommend one, especially if you're staying a few days to explore. We'll have an Uber group code for the wedding day itself.
Will there be parking at the venue?
Yes, there is on-site parking at Briarhurst Manor — but with the Uber code, you don't have to drive home.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Plus-ones are noted on your invitation. If you're not sure, please reach out to us directly.
Are kids welcome?
We love your kids. Whether they're invited to the wedding will be noted on your invitation — please ask us if you're unsure.
What about the altitude?
Manitou Springs sits around 6,400 ft. Drink twice as much water as you think you need, go easy on alcohol the first day, and the summit of Pikes Peak (14,115 ft) is no joke — take it slow up there.
